Awesome food. I came in here while serving community service… anytime I’m in Cleburne… this is a must have. I can’t say enough about this food. I’m a Florida man through and through, I love down home cooking. This is the spot. I’m a stickler for steak… I gotta say, I think Hard 8 BBQ has the best steak in Texas, but this one will definitely do the trick… Mesquite grilled for sure. You can taste the smoke. Love it. The ranch dressing is the star… whatever appetizer you get… I hope it comes with ranch.
This really was the ideal for what to expect at a breakfast place. I had pancakes scrambled eggs and bacon. My son had their biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. Everything was perfectly cooked. The gravy tasted great (I grabbed a bite). It was busy but wasn't noisy. Service was a little too good but that's not a bad thing, they just checked on us a lot. It was a clean pleasant place and best of all the food tasted good.
Great find, hidden gem! Family oriented, home cooking! Kimberly our waitress was friendly and attentive. The management walked around checking on folks. Lots of regulars, so you know it's consistently good. They also make sell home-made pies. Yum!
As usual, this place does not disappoint! We've not had one thing since we first started visiting here. Catfish was crispy and flaky, 3 sides were fresh and very good. The Chicken fried chicken was crispy and very flavorful. I'm not a heavy person, but this was very good! The waitstaff is consistently friendly and very attentive. We We will continue to visit R&K everything we are in Cleburne! Highly recommend!
Great food and great service! The place was busy on a Friday evening, but was only a few minutes to get a seat. Small parking lot that was full so had to park a bit away. Salad bar had lots of options for topping the salad, only improvement would be some kind of protein like bacon bits or ham; there was potato salad, pasta salad, and corn salad too.
It is a.cafe.in a Small town of Cleburne, TX. Service is good and friendly. A lot of space and tables are not crammed. Constant flow of customer.so you know it's good food. We will return when we visit Cleburne again.
We were there for Sunday breakfast. To beat the rush get in before 9 AM. This place gets crowded because it's that good. The wife and I had the #3 & #4 plates (eggs, buscuits & gravy & bacon) for 6.99 each. Prices are cheap compared to the portion size. Friendly, attentive staff, great prices, big portions and good food. What more can you ask? 5 out of 5.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere was a genuine southern warmth that just makes you feel good while you're dining. The staff were all very personable and sweet adding to the stellar experience. Now I grew up eating salmon patties which my grandma cooked up frequently. But I had yet to run into a restaurant with them on the menu. Let me tell you. They did not disappoint they were delicious and the portions were more than adequate. My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak with gravy and it was just like how my grandmother used to make it. Not to mention it was the size of the plate and with 3 sides you won't be leaving hungry. So If you're looking for a great place to try for any occasion definitely give this place your business. Thank you R&K Cafe and I will be back.
